Kim and I had the chance to stage a house a few weekends ago and decided to use the opportunity to film a "staging tutorial" video. The house is vacant so we picked a few choice spaces to focus on.
Kitchens and baths sell houses so naturally we set our sights on those. We started in the kitchen....which already looks amazing...and added a kitchen table and some strategically placed decor.
Next we worked on the sunroom. It's a versatile space but we thought it would be great to stage it as a breakfast nook. We put a table that we refinished (also for sale) and set it with simple placemats and napkins.

We also wanted a warm welcome as you walked into the house. A simple entry table with a fun chalkboark welcome helps catch the eye right away. Lamps are an obsession of mine (bought 3 today!) and adding a little lamp light to the space makes this area scream "buy me!"
The bathrooms were a quick and easy fix. We added decor, towels and curtains and voila! Take a look!!
